Ethiopia’s long distance runner Tirunesh Dibaba claimed her fifth Great Manchester Run 10km title that was held on Sunday (10) in Manchester.
Dibaba beat a strong field that included World Half-Marathon record holder Joyciline Jepkosgei from Kenya when she cut the tape in 31:08.
Dibaba was followed closely by Jepkosgei 49 seconds later with the 2018 Paris Marathon winner Betsy Saina from Kenya closing the podium three in 32:25.
Birhane Dibaba also from Ethiopia and Clemence Calvin from France crossed the line in fourth and fifth place in 32:32 and 32:38 respectively.
