Kenyan sprinter Carvin Nkanata is a proud man after featuring at the 2016 Rio Olympics games.
Having been a frustrated young man for the past few days he took the flight to go and carry the flag of his country high, reaching in Rio an hour before the heats could start.
Nkanata the fighter never gave up and he stood on lane number one and gave his very best. Bernard Ouma the coach who Elijah Manang’oi is under his belt said,” Nkanata’s future is so bright, I have watched him run and this just shows how determined he is. Am so proud of him” he concluded.
Nkanata to show how proud he was he took to his social media forum and said, “Man, these last 10 days have been challenging!! Even when things seemed nearly impossible, I made it possible…I kept fighting and never gave up! I could not let my dream pass me up”.
“I went from being denied to compete to ultimately fulfilling my DREAM to RUN. I thank you all for the love and support during this experience. Family, friends, and fans all over the world. I am blessed to say that I’m a 2016 RIO OLYMPIAN. 🙏🏽 #nevergiveup.” He concluded.
